Welcome, Casey!

By Samuel Bowles on 27 04 2013

Casey began his career working with his father in the automotive industry here in Michigan. In the mid-90's he moved to California and refocused his career on computer systems. While working for two Silicon Valley based companies he gained experience with computer hardware components (memory) and network infrastructure (broadband networking and integration).

In 2002 he returned to Michigan and began consulting companies on server and network deployments and more recently on the rearchitecture of a touch-screen based kiosk.

Casey has also generously participated in the local tech community as an organizer and host for the Grand Rapids Linux Users Group, an organizer of Startup Weekend, board member of Software GR, and volunteer at GiveCamp, GRR Con, Barcamp, GR Dev Day, and the Great Lakes Software Excellence Conference.

At Mutually Human we share Casey's passion for growing the local tech community, encouraging creativity, and connecting people with the best resources to achieve their goals.

Casey's experience with both hardware products, and business development will be an asset to our company as we look to diversify. He will help us grow through our involvement in GR Makers, the development of Human Ventures (the investment side of our business) and our continued focus on our core consulting business.

Casey is also the father of three and a music fan along with his wife. His wife, Veronica, will probably be the first one camping in line for tickets to the Meijer Garden concert series this year (and every year).
